Abstract
Argentina is a centralized republic in South America which is on the border of Paraguay and Bolivia; it is bordered on the east by Uruguay, Brazil and the Atlantic Ocean; on the south it is bordered by Atlantic Ocean; and on the west by Chile. Argentina is the second largest South American country, from Brazil. The capital and largest city of Argentina is known as Buenos Aires.
Description of Argentina
Argentina has a lot of upland areas, mountains and plains. In the north, the Argentine plains are composed of the southern part of the South American region called Chaco. The Pampas plains side that is comprised of the most productive agricultural portion of the country enlarges about 1,000 mi. south from the Chaco. In Patagonia side, which is in southern of the Pampas, the topography consists mainly of desolate steppes and arid parts.”(Adrian & Julie, 2004). The main rivers of Argentina are the áParan, which flow from the north part of the country. In the area which is between the Río Colorado and the Río Chaco, some large rivers drain into marshes and swamps (Adrian & Julie, 2004).
Temperate climatic conditions reign throughout most of the parts of Argentina, except for a very small tropical area in the subtropical Chaco and northeast. The climate in Argentina is generally cold in the region of Andes.
The history of Argentina is separated by historians into four major parts: the pre-Columbian era, (extended up to 16th century), the colonial era (1516-1810), the sovereignty wars era and the post-colonial period of the country (lasted 1810- 1880) and the modern history of Argentina which started from 1880(Adrian & Julie, 2004).
Argentina’s constitution has separated powers into three branches; executive, legislative, and judiciary each at provincial level and national level. Every province has also its independent constitution, which comprise of the system of the national constitution. The president and vice president are directly elected by public on a four year term which is restricted on two consecutive terms The president has the duty of appointing the cabinet ministers, and the constitution give him supremacy power, such as power to enact laws by presidential verdict under situation of “urgency and necessity”( Adrian & Julie,2004).
There are different types of people who live in Argentina; 20% mentis, 75% of European descent, 5% Indian and other minorities people. The religion is varied into, 92% are Roman Catholic, 2% Jewish, 4% Ukrainian Catholic, 2% Protestant and a minor group of Armenian Orthodox. With a uniformly literacy rate between women and men 96.2%, most of the Argentineans are bilingual (Lipworth, 1988). The most ordinary language is Spanish/American, with English and 18 native languages trailing behind. There is a total population 33 million with a growth rate of 1.3%.
Argentina an important custom element of the local culture is concentrated on the dressing code of an individual. The dress code in Argentina is quite formal and Argentineans are delightful in their appearance as they look presentable at all times. Fashion is put into consideration and the latest European styles and fashions are usually worn. In many restaurants, it is very common and regular for men to wear a tie and suit for the occasion. In Argentina men are not supposed to wear body piercings such as earrings as this is frowned upon in Argentina and may draw a negative attention to a person. It is not custom to wear shorts outside of the city capital, so one is supposed to avoid wearing them where necessary.
Though Argentina is wealthy and lovely, there is a scandalous amount of poor people in the nation. A 27% of the total population lives standards which are below the economic poverty line, while the defined social classes are: farmers, homeless, wealthy and domestic. Major arts work comprises of include artistic murals, theater and story telling. Most housing is in main cities. For example, 25% of Argentina population lives in Buenos Aires (Andrew & Dirk, 2007). Therefore, most people reside in city flats, while the wealthy populations have homes in the city centers. Most people have modern standards homes.

as one of the least protectionist and open economy country in the world. Its currency is exchangeable to the United States dollars and there is entirely total freedom for investing capital into the country. Argentina has carried out one of the most demanding privatization programs in the world today. The airlines, telephone company, hydroelectric companies and Argentina oil companies, ports and most public services have been transferred recently to the private sectors (Skjærseth & Skodvin, 2003). The combined value of the privatized firms in Argentina comprise of more than 30 billion US dollars. Many foreign investors and firms have fully participated in this large-scale privatization program in the country. Foreign investors do not necessary need to search for any kind of prior approval, and they are free to send back to their mother country a full amount of their capital and earnings any time they wish.
Conclusion
In conclusion Argentina has proven to have a good political and economical stability. This has led to attraction of foreigner investors who in turn have facilitated high rate of economic growth and development in the country. Consequently Argentina culture and custom have also attracted foreign tourists thus increase in the country Gross Domestic Product.
